We hereby express our heartiest congratulations and welcome you to International Maritime Training Academy (IMTA).

We provide marine-related education and training for seagoing and shore-based maritime personnel. Initially, this organization started its journey as IMT since the year 2001. Eventually, IMTA was established in 2012 as a government-approved private maritime training institute. By now IMTA has emerged as the leading maritime training institute by providing quality training facilities to the maximum number of seafarers in Bangladesh.

International Maritime Training Academy (IMTA) has a commitment to standard quality training in every respect. The institute is Approved by the Department of Shipping, Govt. of Bangladesh & ISO 9001:2015 as well as certified by IRMA. All the courses are approved by the Dept. of Shipping (DOS).

The faculty of this institute is enriched by well-qualified and experienced instructors and teachers. Dept. of Shipping (DOS) conducts various competency exams for seafarers who want to progress in their career. International Maritime Training Academy conducts various preparatory and competency courses to help the seafarers prepare for those exams and progress in their career to reach the rank of Chief engineer and Captain of a ship.

Shipping is a fast-changing industry. In the present context, latest innovations and technology have brought in many changes specially in the form of various electronic equipment and many new rules and regulations. The seafarers need to continuously refresh and upgrade themselves to these changes. International Maritime Training Academy conducts various (STCV) Arbitrary Courses, Preparatory Courses as well as extremely favorable Simulator Courses. These prerogatives are required to enable the seafarers keep themselves updated to these new changes.

IMTA has set up various world-class simulators like OMOSS, ROC ARPA, ECDIS, SHIP HANDLING Full Mission Bridge simulator, Engine simulator, Liquid cargo simulator, (Oil chemical ID & LNG). Highly voltage simulator which have enabled IMTA as reliable service provider including cutting edge technology for all surfaces. We have all solutions for maritime in order to keep them completely updated. Therefore, We are trying to provide the best in this respect.
